RSC Holdings announced its 16th consecutive quarter of rental revenue growth. Rental revenues, which make up 87 percent of total revenues, grew 13.1 percent of $44.5 million to $384.6 million in the second quarter compared to $340.1 million in the prior period.
Total revenues were $442.8 million up 7 percent from $413.8 million in the prior period, and net income was $17.4 million, or $0.18 per share. Net income would have been $35.5 million, or $0.36 per share, without fees related to the termination of the monitoring agreement and debt prepayment costs related to the recent initial public offering.
