Several copper pipe thefts have occurred in the Wilkes Barre area, including reports of two incidences at residences on Nov. 3 and 7. The Wilkes Barre Times Leader reported that similar thefts happened the week of Oct. 23, which included copper pipe stolen from a construction site and 200 feet of copper tubing that was taken from a house undergoing renovations.
The value of the stolen items has not yet been determined.
