At 99 horsepower the John Deere 605C crawler loader extends the company’s crawler loader line to the under-100 horsepower class while retaining many of the features of its bigger brothers. The 605C uses the same drive train and undercarriage as the 650J, including engine, hydrostatic pumps and motors, transmission controller, final drives and track frames. The bucket holds 1.7 cubic yards and generates 22,480 pounds of breakout force. Hydrostatic power management gives infinite speed control, power turns, counter rotation and dynamic braking. The operator can customize the controls by choosing between V-patterns with pedal steering or joystick transmission and steering control. A hydraulically driven fan boosts fuel economy and reduces noise levels. Open-center, load-sensing hydraulics deliver predictable response regardless of the load.
