A week after recovering a stolen construction trailer, Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department investigators recovered $20,000 in tools taken from a construction site in Hermon, Maine, according to the Bangor Daily News. William Braisted, 24, was charged with the theft after the trailer was located on Oct. 5. Braisted cooperated with authorities and led them to the stolen tools.
Several construction burglaries have been reported in Hermon recently, including one in which a small dump truck and trailer were stolen. Those have not been recovered. Authorities estimate the worth of the items stolen, including those recovered, to be $70,000.
