Springfield police recovered tools and other items stolen from construction sites around the city, according to The State Journal-Register. A police officer saw some suspicious property, including tools, behind a residence and suspected they were from a recent rash of construction site thefts. The tools were linked to at least eight burglaries. Police arrested one man and are accusing him of looting the construction sites.
