Various tools owned by Matt David Long, proprietor of Pilli Development, were stolen from a home under construction, The Capital newspaper reported. Long told police the home’s doors and windows were secured when he left the site Aug. 31. Because other expensive items such as toilets and cabinets were not taken, Long said he thinks another contractor is likely the culprit.
