Crane sets itself up without auxiliary assistance

The 900-horsepower Liebherr HS 895 HD crawler crane assembles, disassembles and loads itself on trucks in less than four hours without the use of an auxiliary crane. Designed for easy, joystick operation and short operator learning times, the 895 can be put to work as a 220-ton lift crane, a 60,000-pound-class clamshell machine or a 40,000-pound-class dragline. The unit can monitor, control and power casing oscillators, vibrator hammers, impact hammers and lead systems.
