NES Rentals has hired Chris Bowers as senior vice president, customer strategy, sales and marketing. Bowers was previously chief executive officer of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau.
He will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
In addition to his most recent position with the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, Bowers ran his own management consulting firm with an emphasis on marketing, sales development and strategic planning. For most of his career, Bowers was an executive at United Airlines, where he held senior positions in sales, marketing and operations.
