Topcon is reshaping its European operation after the model of its corporate and American organization. On July 1 Topcon Europe became a holding company made up of two separate companies – Topcon Europe Positioning and Topcon Europe Medical.
The new organization will allow each group to focus dedicated resources on particular opportunities within their specific market, said Koji Suzuki, president of Topcon.
Heading the two new companies are Toshio Ushiyama, president of TEM, and Hiroshi Sakai, president of TEP. Topcon has promoted Ewout Korpershoek to executive vice president of TEP.
