BW190AD-4 HF roller with 40 percent better vibratory drum efficiency

Bomag introduced a record number of new machines at ConExpo 2005. The BW190AD-4 HF tandem vibratory roller is one of them. All new from the ground up, the roller features 79-inch-wide drums and boasts a 40-percent increase in drum operating efficiencies over previous Bomag designs. The high-frequency roller is powered by a 131-horsepower Deutz water-cooled diesel engine. This engine helps deliver 28,800 pounds of centrifugal force in the low amplitude/high frequency range (at 3,600 vibrations per minute) and 40,950 pounds in the high amplitude/low frequency range (at 2,880 vibrations per minute). The BW190AD-4 HF features slanted drum support legs, high curb clearance and a clear view of the entire drum surface. This open design also allows clear views to the sprinkler system, allowing operators to spot asphalt pickup. Also new from Bomag: BPR45D, BR55D, BR65D and BR70D reversible plate compactors; BW100AD-4, BW120AD-4, BW141AD-4 and BW151AD-4 tandem-drum rollers; BW213DH-4 BVC and BW166-3 single-drum rollers; Marini MP 1300 and MP 2100 cold planer milling machines.
