Meets state requirements for continuous, non-contact interstate paving

The Terex/Cedarapids CR622RM RoadMix material transfer vehicle from Terex Roadbuilding weighs 50,800 pounds and features a rubber-track drive system that evenly distributes its weight over a large area. Because the machine has a relatively low ground pressure it can be used on base as well as top courses. The unit reblends 100 percent of the asphalt, reducing the chance for particle and thermal segregation. The augers channel the material to the rear of the machine, offering reduced handling time and eliminating significant temperature losses. A short delivery conveyor carries the asphalt to a long conveyor that swivels 55 degrees left or right of center, with a hydraulically variable discharge height from 73 to 116 inches. The unit can be converted into a paver by removing the rear conveyor assembly and replacing it with a screed. Also new from Terex: PR950 pavement profiler; BCG3303 curb-and-gutter paver; and Bid-Well 2450 bridge paver.
