U.S. Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command has awarded Oshkosh Truck a $14.7 million contract to install crew protection and air conditioning kits on a variety of military vehicles in use in the Middle East. Work for the contract will be performed in Kuwait and is slated to be completed by May 31. Oshkosh is a manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies for the fire and emergency, defense, concrete and refuse hauling markets.
