Just in time for the rainy season, John Deere is making rubber over-the-tire tracks available for its 200 and 300 series skid steers. The rubber tracks improve flotation and traction in muddy and soft underfoot conditions without damaging concrete and asphalt like steel tracks. The tracks fit over standard 10- and 12-inch pneumatic tires and can be adjusted for length by installing rubber joints. When conditions favor tires, the system can be removed to save wear on the tracks.
