New aerial platforms offer four-wheel drive standard

Skyjack has introduced three new models of rugged-terrain aerial work platforms. Models 8831, 8841 and 9250 come with four-wheel-drive standard and offer capacities up to 2,500 pounds. Platform sizes go up to 74 inches by 168 inches and working heights to 56 feet. Engine choices include liquid-cooled dual fuel or diesel. Proportional joystick control prevents inadvertent operation and a tilt alarm with drive/lift cutoff reduces the chances of an accident. The platforms include 110-volt AC electrical outlets, spring-loaded half gates on both sides and hinged railing systems.
