Vermeer will soon begin distributing vacuum excavation units made by Ring-O-Matic. The two companies have entered an alliance through which Ring-O-Matic will handle manufacturing, invoicing, sales support, service and warranty functions with Vermeer providing distribution and marketing. The alliance will allow customers to purchase reputable vacuum excavation units from a full-service local dealer, said Ed Savage, trenchless product manager for Vermeer. The units will be co-branded.
