Manitowoc Crane Group and Kobelco Machinery have shipped the first of a new series of cranes to the United States based on existing cranes in the Kobelco range. The first crane to be delivered is the 100-ton Model 10000 with a 200-foot main boom that can be configured as a main boom and jib arrangement of 190 feet plus 60 feet, or set up as a luffing boom and luffing jib of 115 feet and 100 feet. Four additional models – ranging from 50 to 85 tons with main booms from 160 to 200 feet – have been launched.
