Compact loader transfers power through heavy-duty drive train

With 1,300 pounds of lift capacity and 3,800 pounds of breakout force, the new Thomas 137 compact skid-steer loader transfers power from its 43-horsepower engine through a direct coupling to the hydrostatic drive and then through a heavy-duty number-100 roller chain to the axles. The 137 puts out more than 16.6 gallons-per-minute hydraulic flow.
