Stabilizer/reclaimer offers mid-sized option

With its 400-horsepower engine, the midsize WR 2000 stabilizer/reclaimer from Wirtgen America gives roadbuilders a high-performance alternative to larger machines. The WR 2000 cuts grades or asphalt roadways up to 20 inches deep and 79 inches wide. It stabilizes with both emulsion and foamed asphalt and can be equipped with a high-capacity water pump for dry soil, cement or lime stabilization projects. The V-belt drive cutter has an automatic belt tensioner and runs at four speeds from 112 to 181 rpm. The cutter system’s floating hood design with a hardened steel housing has multiple wear plate inserts to minimize wear.
