Two-cycle rammer engine doesn’t need oil-fuel mixture

Wacker’s new generation of EPA-certified two-cycle rammers are powered by the WM 80 oil-injected engine. The BS-50-2i, BS 60-2i and BS 70-2i offer vented carburetors for easier starting, a three-stage air filtration system with a cyclonic precleaner, and a shock-mount system built into the guide handle. The shock-mount system reduces hand-arm vibration by more than 40 percent compared to previous models. The oil-injected engine does not require pre-mixing of oil and gasoline, prevents spark plug fouling and holds up well to the severe vibration of a rammer. The impact force ranges from 2,695 to 3,375 pounds per blow.
