Dana adds new axles to heavy-duty line

The new Dana Spicer D190 series of single-reduction tandem drive axles are designed for gross axle weight ratings from 52,000 to 60,000 pounds and demanding vocational applications such as construction, heavy haul and oil field operations. The axles’ ratios start at 3.42 to 1 and go up to 7.17 to 1 for optimum performance in a variety of vocations. The inter-axle driveline angles minimize torsional stress and extra-wide face width gearing adds strength and durability. A new patented lubrication pump lowers operating temperatures and adds spinout protection. The differential cases are made from forged, heat-treated steel.
