Sterling Truck now offers a factory-authorized, all-wheel-drive conversion for Acterra trucks. The feature – manufactured by Fabco Automotive – was available earlier this year for all Acterra four-by-two versions, and most recently on all Acterra six-by-four trucks. Sterling is offering the conversion with front axle ratings of 12,000, 14,000 or 16,000 pounds, and it comes with a choice of one- or two-speed transfer cases. The option is available on Acterras equipped with MBE or Caterpillar medium-duty engines, and with a DaimlerChrysler Powersystems, Eaton or Allison transmission.
