The Manitowoc Crane Group and Kobelco Construction Machinery have agreed for Kobelco to supply Manitowoc with a range of lattice-boom crawler cranes less than 150 tons. The Manitowoc-branded products will be introduced in the second quarter of 2004. The cranes supplied by Kobelco will be clearly differentiated from Kobelco’s own line of lattice-boom crawler cranes, which it will continue to market and distribute, and support through its current distribution system in the Americas. The new models will be sold and supported through Manitowoc’s existing dealer and product support networks.
