Designed to split logs, stumps, poles and roots, the new HDS-1 heavy-duty stump shear from AIM attachments features high-strength, bolt-on cutting edges. The replaceable alloy steel blades are nearly 20 percent harder and 34 percent stronger than AR400 steel. The HDS-1 is designed for use on 25,000- to 80,000-pound excavators. A backdrag plate on the bottom of the shears allows you to backfill holes left by stumps.
