Case’s three G series vertical-mast, rough-terrain forklifts – the 585G, 586G and 588G – offer lift capacities of 5,000 pounds, 6,000 pounds and 8,000 pounds, respectively. They can also be equipped with two mast heights, 15 feet and 22 feet. Other mast heights are available for special applications. The mast on each unit features a 45-degree forward tilt for a lower transport height and a 15-degree back tilt for material retention and balance of heavy loads.
Powered by a 75-horsepower Case 4-390 engine, the units have the tractive force necessary for working in mud or on a sloped site. The machines feature a four-speed synchronized transmission with self-adjusting wet-disc brakes.
