Rule changes increase space at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2005 show

The amount of space exhibitors can use at the Conexpo-Con/Agg 2005 show will increase 5,000 square feet due to rule changes show management announced June 19. The change in space requirements should allow more room for displays and demonstrations.

During previous shows, exhibitors were restricted to 35,000 square feet of indoor space and 45,000 square feet of outdoor space or 50,000 square feet of combined indoor/outdoor space. Because of the rule change, at the 2005 expo companies can use up to 40,000 net square feet indoors, up to 50,000 net square feet outdoors or 60,000 square feet of combined indoor/outdoor exhibit space.

According to the show’s management board, the rule change is in response to the number of companies that carry multiple product lines. The changes were made to meet the needs of the largest companies and companies with multiple divisions, while still encouraging smaller exhibitors to participate.
