New Ingersoll-Rand telehandler lifts up to 5,500 pounds

Designed for the construction, landscaping, industrial and rental markets, the new Ingersoll-Rand VR-518 telehandler offers a maximum capacity of 5,500 pounds and a maximum lift height of 18 feet, 2 inches. With its standard tires and a variety of attachments, the VR-518 can load, dig, grade, haul, handle and place materials. Maximum forward reach is 10 feet, 8 inches from the front of the tires. The Z-bar style tool carrier has 10,260 pounds of breakout force and a hydraulic quick attach allows you to change attachments without leaving the cab. Powered by a 106-horsepower Perkins engine, the telehandler’s hydrostatic drive allows the accelerator pedal to be used for automatic gear variation. The unit offers three steering modes: two-wheel, four-wheel and crab.
