GMC brings its off-road AT4 trim to the Sierra HD for 2020

A new 10-speed transmission and best-in-class towing numbers aren’t all that’s coming to GMC’s Sierra HD lineup for 2020. Thanks to the truck brand’s AT4 trim, its HD trucks will get some additional equipment that will make off-road slogs, like those into untamed jobsites, more comfortable.

The 2020 Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD AT4 trucks will be outfitted with the following:

  • Off-road suspension, Rancho Shocks, skid plates, Eaton locking rear differential
  • Eighteen-inch wheels wrapped with Michelin all-terrain tires, with 20-inch wheels available
  • Traction Select System with specific Off-Road mode
  • Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist
  • Segment-exclusive 15-inch diagonal Head-Up Display with Off-Road Inclinometer
  • HD Surround Vision1 for low-speed views of vehicle surroundings

In addition to the specialized equipment, the Sierra HD AT4 trucks will feature the following exterior design features:

  • Dark chrome exterior finishes
  • Body color front and rear bumpers
  • Black chrome grille
  • Red vertical recovery hooks

Interior touches include:

  • Dark-tinted and textured aluminum finishes on the steering wheel, center stack and sill plates
  • Unique Jet Black interior with Kalahari color accents in the seats and live stitching
  • Leather-appointed seating, with mini-perforated inserts and embroidered AT4 badging on the headrests
  • All-weather floor liners
