Max USA bills its new RB613T-C as the world’s first #9 x #10 connected rebar tying tool.
The new tool, alongside its web-based management portal, provides real-time tool tracking via cellular and GPS connectivity. This means contractors can quickly locate and monitor the RB613T-C on their jobsites, improving visibility and control and deterring theft, the company says.
Even when powered off and without a battery, the RB613T-C can be tracked for up to 30 days.
In addition to connected tracking, users can lock the tool remotely and set up geofencing alerts, letting contractors know when the tool leaves the digitally defined jobsite.
Contractors can also use the management portal to access a tool diagnostic view on the RB613T-C to check its condition, receive proactive maintenance suggestions and get error alerts with step-by-step solutions to reduce downtime.
The RB613T-C also delivers improved performance compared to Max USA’s RB611T and boasts a 0.5-second or 15% reduction in tying speed.
Contractors can expect the RB613T-C, which uses Max USA’s Twintier dual-wire tying technology, to deliver 4,300 ties per charge. The RB613T-C is compatible with TW1061T wire series.
