Contractors looking for quick, temporary weather protection for workers and equipment on the jobsite have a new option with WillScot’s Quick-Connect Canopy.
The company says the canopy can be installed in a day by WillScot crews between compatible WillScot units. It does not require drilling, welding or permanent structural modifications.
It is designed for construction, infrastructure, energy and industrial worksites, providing protection without requiring additional standalone structures for such things as material handling, construction equipment storage, crew coordination, break areas and operational support.
- Engineered to wind and snow load requirements across more than 75% of WillScot’s serviceable markets. Engineering documents are available to support local permitting requirements where applicable, the company says.
- Constructed with a heavy-duty galvanized steel frame and high-strength fabric covering for protection from sun, rain and snow.
- 17-foot center clearance suitable for standard DOT vehicles.
- Modular 20-foot-wide design that scales in 20-foot increments.
Quick-Connect Canopy is currently available in select U.S. markets, including Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; Dallas; Detroit; Houston; Indianapolis; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Raleigh/Durham, N.C.; and Tampa, Fla. The company says additional expansion is planned.
