A few weeks back we told you about all the slick cab upgrades Hyundai Construction Equipment recently made in its new HX Series excavators and HL Series loaders. The main feature in the cabs of both of those machine lineups is this tech-packed new touchscreen monitor with button cluster.

In the video below, we get some quality hands-on time with the new monitor inside one of the HX Series excavators. Hyundai CE marketing manager Corey Rogers takes us through the lion’s share of the new features including interchangeable display configurations, functions that can be controlled through the haptic controller and the new All Around View Monitoring system Hyundai is touting as an industry exclusive technology.

Using four cameras on the top of the machine, AAVM stitches together an overhead view of the machine and alerts the operator anytime a person or other object gets too close. Don’t miss the video below. And to read more about the new cab and monitor, click here.
