Jean-Claude Van Damme performs “Epic Split” between two trucks in reverse in viral Volvo ad

The folks at Volvo have put together some pretty audacious advertisements for their new trucks. First they let a hamster drive an FMX with a dump body up the side of a quarry. That seemed a little crazy, but was mainly just cute. Then one of their engineers buried himself up to the head and let another FMX truck run overtop. That was really dangerous.

But Volvo has likely set the bar prohibitively high for any future ads with its latest for the new FM trucks. It stars none other than action star Jean-Claude Van Damme performing a split you’ll have to see to fully believe. Volvo says the ad was created to show off the steering of the new FM lineup and was done without the use of CGI in one take. The ad has become a bit of an Internet sensation and it’s easy to see why below. (Though, we couldn’t help but chuckle at the song selection.)
