ASV has introduced a new warranty for its compact track loaders and skid steers, including what it says is the industry’s first guarantee of no track derailment on its Posi-Track CTLs.

The new warranty is for two years or 2,000 hours, whichever comes first. The no-derailment guarantee includes travel and mileage rates offered if ASV tracks derail.

“We’ve always said our tracks don’t derail, but we’re going a step further and guaranteeing it on paper,” says Justin Rupar, vice president of sales and marketing.

ASV says the tracks don’t derail because they have numerous ground contact points, low pressure due to evenly distributed weight and guide lugs on the inner and outer edges of the bogie wheels to handle slopes and uneven terrain.

The rubber tracks are designed to conform around objects for improved ground contact and traction. The company says the rubber tracks provide up to 1,000 additional hours of life compared to steel-embedded ones.
