To meet contractors’ growing demands, Winter Equipment makes key promotions

As it moves steadily into the contractor market for the municipal snow and ice management industry, as well as road maintenance, Winter Equipment has recently added and promoted several key employees.

“We have experienced significant growth over the last few years and have received great interest for our contractor products,” says Ken Marvar, director of sales and marketing, Winter Equipment. “These additions, as well as several new hires on the plant floor, follow our need to ramp up efforts to address this increased demand.”

Christina Bacnik was promoted to marketing manager and will head up the company’s municipal marketing efforts. Over the past nine years, Bacnik held additional sales and marketing positions with increasing responsibilities at the company.

David J. Fox joined Winter Equipment to lead new product development efforts.

With more than 40 years in manufacturing and sales engineering, he brings a new level of process development and discipline to product development efforts.

Fox also maintains a dual role of heading up the contractor sales efforts and will work to educate this sector of Winter Equipment’s existing products.

Heather Huff recently joined Winter Equipment as senior bid specialist, helping to define business requirements for software and online projects to the position.

Prior to joining Winter Equipment, Huff held positions with the Geauga County Parks District, Progressive Insurance, PFI Knowledge Solutions and ASM International.

Jason Lippincott joined the company also as a marketing manager, heading up the marketing for the company’s contractor division.

Lippincott brings nearly 10 years of marketing experience to the position, including positions in the snow removal, work truck and electronic industries.

In addition to these key personnel, Winter Equipment also recently filled several manufacturing and production positions.
