Ditch Witch MV800 mud vac

Ditch Witch has launched a new vacuum excavator designed specifically for horizontal directional drilling jobsites.

The MV800 is powered by a 31-horsepower Briggs & Stratton Vanguard gas engine with electric start and a high-capacity, remote air-intake filter.

The machine features curbside controls, an 800-gallon spoils tank, reverse flow and an integrated carryover chamber that filters out contaminants before they reach the blower. Safety features include a strobe light, belt guards and mechanical locks on all lift cylinders.

A hydraulic opening door is optional as is a water system with adjustable pressure up to 3,000 psi and a 100-gallon tank.
