Usually, seeing “some assembly required” on a box is an annoyance. But when it comes to LEGO, the more pieces to put together the better. And while building a LEGO set makes for the majority of the fun, only Technic sets extend the fun by letting you operate your creation afterward. And the newest LEGO Technic set is one you’re really going to want to operate.

The Lego Technic Volvo L350F wheel loader set was designed through a close eight-month collaboration between Lego designers and Volvo engineers. In fact, Volvo gave LEGO access to its engineers and the factory where the L350F is made so the designers could fully understand how all the components come together.

The set includes 1,636 pieces for you to assemble and once it’s put together you can actually drive it around with the provided remote control. The mini L350F can even lift up to 2.2 pounds of material. And the bucket on the machine is the largest component LEGO has built for a set. Plus, because it’s a 2-in-1 set, the bricks can be assembled as either the loader or an A25F articulated hauler.

The set runs $250 and can be bought from Toys R Us. Plus, as part of our 12 Days of Construction Gifts guide, we’re giving one of these sets away. Just enter your information below through December 23 for a chance to win!
