Manitex announces 19-ton 1970C boom truck crane designed for rental market

Manitex 1970C boom truck craneDesigned with the rental market in mind, Manitex has announced its new 19-ton 1970C boom truck crane.

Featuring a 70-foot, three section proportional boom, the 1970C has a 121-foot, 3-inch max boom tip height with an optional two piece jib. The crane is designed to be installed on all North American-made truck chassis.

Additional features include a fixed jib option, self-lubricating boom slider pads, two-speed planetary hoist with grooved drum and negative draft flanges, a load-moment indicator system and A-frame outriggers and stabilizers.

Manitex says testing on the 1970C is “all but complete.” The company is already receiving orders and deliveries are expected to begin this month.
