Case Construction Equipment is bringing cab improvements and new operator assistance features to its G Series large wheel loaders, designed to increase operator comfort and productivity.

Case says all eight models, from the 142-horsepower 521G up to the 345-horsepower 1121G, now include:

Auto Dig: Automatically detects the pile, controls the transmission and manages attachment controls to ensure full bucket loads and faster cycle times.

Auto Dump: Synchronizes bucket tilt and shaking to remove all material before automatically returning the bucket to level.

Auto Meter: Controls the material unloading and spreading process for even distribution and reduced waste.

Rear Object Detection: Improves operator awareness — especially in tight or low-light areas — by providing audio and visual warnings when hazards are detected.

Optional Integrated Payload System: Allows operators to set target loads and monitor progress to increase loading efficiency. Detailed reporting on the system is available through Case SiteWatch telematics.

The updated G Series also features cab upgrades, including a redesigned HVAC system, EH controls, heated and ventilated seats, a seatbelt indicator light with an optional alarm, improved Bluetooth connectivity and an updated noise-canceling microphone.

The 8-inch touchscreen provides access to operational data, a rearview camera, rear object detection system and control features including Lift and Tilt responsiveness levels, engine rpm lock for long travel periods, Automatic Ride control down to 1 mph. Color-coded configurable armrest buttons enable one-push access to key features.

Two power modes are available: Max Power, which gives operators all-out power for heavy lifting, and Smart Power, which delivers smooth shifting, less tire wear and increased fuel efficiency. Hydrostatic braking also helps increase brake life while reducing axle and tire wear.

Buyers of the 1021G and 1121G models can now specify the machines with an optional hydrostatic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Case reports that its X-Drive transmission can improve fuel efficiency by up to 20% compared with standard transmissions. It delivers smooth acceleration to maximize traction and reduce tire spin while giving operators greater control on hills and when inching toward trucks for unloading, the company says.

The 821G and 921G also come equipped with heavier counterweights, increasing operating weights by more than 2,300 pounds for greater lifting capacity.

Available later this year, Case’s G Series wheel loaders will also feature a standard four-corner strobe light system with customizable strobe patterns and five color options for enhanced safety and visibility.

All major regular service points, including HVAC filters and components, can be accessed from ground level. All models except the 521G come with a powered open and close rear hood for easy access to key components.
