The new PAS 100 HFS and PAS 150 HFS high-flow pumps from Atlas Copco Power Technique are designed for construction, general dewatering and emergency applications, such as flood cleanup.
Both are vacuum prime centrifugal pumps and have Tier 4 Final engines.
The 4-inch PAS 100 has a 49-horsepower engine, produces up to 1,230 gallons per minute of flow and maximum pressure of 71 pounds per square inch.
The 6-inch PAS 150 HFS has a 74-horsepower engine, produces maximum flow of 2,250 gpm and maximum pressure of 72 psi.
Both pumps are equipped with a semi-open impeller that can handle solids up to 3 inches that are suspended in liquid. The pumps come with a road-certified trailer and sound-prrof enclosure.
The company says the pumps’ wet end has a diaphragm vacuum pump and separator to reduce maintenance issues and speed the priming process. A hinged cover enables quick access to the impeller and pump housing for maintenance, and the wear plate can be replaced easily, the company says.
