Offering milling widths from 1.5 to 2.5 meters (4.9 to 8.2 feet) and milling depths of up to 330 millimeters (13 inches), Wirtgen‘s new W 210 Fi, W 200 Fi and W 200 F models are equipped with engines rated up to 755 horsepower (563 kilowatts) and a high torque output at 1,300 rpm.
A quick change milling drum assembly enables you to change out different width drums in as little as 15 minutes. The drum side door opens hydraulically, and a loosening tool is positioned on the main bolt. Push a button and the tool loosens the main bolt enabling you to pull out the milling drum. Drum widths include 2, 2.2 or 2.5 meters (6.5, 7.2 and 8.2 feet) for the W 210 Fi and 1.5, 2.0 or 2.2 meters (4.9, 6.5 and 7.2 feet) for the W 200 Fi and W 200 F.
With the machines’ Connected Milling software and telematics the speed of the two-speed, powershift transmissions are automatically controlled by the Mill Assist feature and a larger range of milling drum speeds are available to reduce fuel consumption and tool wear. The milling process is digitally mapped and simulated in real time while selecting the most favorable ratio between milling performance and operating costs.
With the Performance Tracker feature, after a job has been completed a measurement report is generated in Excel and PDF format and sent by email to designated addresses.
On the job, operators can view all the machine parameters on a single control panel that can be mounted on the right or left side operator stand. Another feature, Level Pro Active, lets operator raise the machine to drive over a manhole cover and provides active, precise support when the machine is positioned at the start of a second milling track.
