MINExpo preview: MTG expands StarMet tooth system

Spanish ground engaging tool manufacturer MTG plans to intro four new sizes to its hammerless StarMet tooth system at MINExpo. Now available in sizes 15, 20, 30 and 40, MTG says the new sizes complete the product range offering for construction, heavy construction and mining. 

The light, short-tooth nose StarMet systems feature a new bilateral MTGTwist fixing system, which allows both the retainer and the pin to be assembled on both sides of the adapter. This lets the the user introduce the pin through the most convenient side (available in all sizes except the 15.)
