One purchaser at Ritchie Brothers’ Brisbane, Australia, auction on September 18 purchased $13 million worth of construction equipment, setting a new record for a single buyer for the company’s auctions worldwide.
The company, Western Australia-based Ausdrill, a diversified mining and services company, had never participated in a Ritchie Bros. auction in the past. Their auction purchase included 20 mining trucks.
