JCB Construction Equipment has announced the development of a high mobility engineer excavator (HMEE) for the U.S. Army. Designed for battlefield commanders in Iraq and Afghanistan, the HMEE has a 60-mph travel speed.
Eight hundred HMEEs will be built at JCB’s headquarters in Savannah, Georgia.
