Kaufman Trailers expanding facilities

North Carolina-based Kaufman Trailers, a manufacturer of utility, equipment and auto transport trailers, is expanding its facilities and opening a new manufacturing plant in Beaver City, Neb. The facility will manufacture and market flatbed trailers to commercial and agricultural users throughout the Central Plains and Western states. Currently, Kaufman Trailers sells trailers primarily to consumers east of the Mississippi River. Eventually, the company plans to market trailers to consumers in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California.
