Kobelco, New Holland donate equipment, cash to hurricane relief

Kobelco Construction Machinery America and New Holland Construction are donating equipment and cash to support humanitarian relief and reconstruction work in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Kobelco is shipping two excavators from its plant in Calhoun, Ga., to the government of Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, south of New Orleans. New Holland has delivered seven loader backhoes to the parish.
