Magnum Products, a manufacturer of light towers, generators and other light construction equipment, has built a 55,000-square-foot addition to its Berlin, Wis., facility. Steve Romme, president of the company, said its sales more than doubled in the past year and it needed extra space to increase manufacturing capacity and accommodate additional employees.
The expansion included loading bays with overhead cranes that allow two flatbed semi trucks to be loaded simultaneously, a powder paint system and an overhead trolley system to facilitate the movement of material through the plant. A new cafeteria, office space and training areas are part of the addition as well.
