Astec Underground has appointed three people to new roles within the company.
Alan Odgers, who has been vice president of sales and marketing since 2004, is now president of the company. He was previously managing director of Vermeer International, based in Europe.
Klane Kirby is the new vice president of sales and marketing. Kirby was director of sales during the past year. Kirby came to Astec from Charles Machine Works, maker of Ditch Witch equipment, with 15 years of experience in sales, product management and management of factory-owned stores.
James Pfeiffer joined American Augers, part of the Astec Underground group, as vice president and general manager. Pfeiffer has more than 18 years of experience with Charles Machine Works, and most recently was vice president and general manager for Kioti Tractor.
