Komatsu dealer Linder Industrial Machinery is changing the names of its locations in North Carolina and South Carolina from Mitchell Distributing to the Linder company name. Linder, which distributes construction, mining and utility equipment, acquired the Mitchell operations in 2003, and the name change is the final step in merging the two companies.
Five North Carolina offices, located in Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh and Wilmington, will be affected, along with five South Carolina offices, located in Conway, North Charleston, Greenville, Ridgeland and Columbia.
