Polish-government-owned company buys Dressta

A company owned by the Polish government has purchased Komatsu America’s 51-percent stake in Dressta and its subsidiary Dressta North America. HSW Trading, a newly formed company owned by HSW, which in turn is owned by the Polish government, bought the controlling interest in the construction equipment distributor and manufacturer.

HSW Trading appointed Krzysztof Trofiniak chairman and general director of Dressta and Tom McGonigle, previously director of Dressta North America, president. He will oversee North American operations.

Dressta North America management said the company will continue selling its line of crawler dozers, wheel loaders and crawler loaders through its current distribution organization.
