Bobcat’s new entry-level track loader: T140

Bobcat’s T140 complements larger Bobcat compact track loaders, but also serves as an entry point track loader for contractors who use skid-steer loaders because of the machine’s small frame design.

The T140 features radial lift loader arm geometry with a 1,400-pound rated operating capacity. The machine is 56-inches wide and 124 inches long. Total machine weight is 6,424 pounds, but the T140’s turf-friendly lug track distributes this load out to a mere 5 pounds per square inch of ground pressure.

Power is supplied by a 46-horsepower Kubota diesel engine. Bobcat has outfitted the T140 with a 16.9-gallon-per-minute auxiliary hydraulic system. More than 40 different Bobcat-brand attachments are approved for the new loader. The company’s Power Bob-Tach attachment mounting system allows attachment changes from inside the cab and is available as optional equipment.

Other T140 features include fingertip auxiliary hydraulic controls, automatic engine and hydraulic system shutdown functions, the Bobcat Interlock Control System and Dual Path cooling system.
