Hilti will be introducing 30 new products in 2005. Among the first is the WSR 1400-PE Reciprocating Saw. The new saw makes use of Hilti innovations like Smart Power and Active Vibration Reduction to deliver maximum cutting power in a compact cutting tool.
Smart Power is Hilti’s proprietary blade management system. It maintains a constant blade speed under load, which the company says significantly reduces cutting time, even in tough applications. A 13.5-amp motor and six speed settings help ensure the right amount of power and the right cutting speed for each job, while the saw’s orbital range of motion allows for faster, more aggressive cutting characteristics.
Hilti says its Active Vibration Reduction system significantly reduces the transmission of vibration forces to the operator.
